Tiger Cereal

It seems that "Tiger Cereal" has been a kid favorite over the years. Jules loved Tony as a kid and apparently so does Rem.

Sledding Pix

We had so much fun sledding with the cousins. The snow was deep enough and the weather was just warm enough to stay out for a while. Even Becki and Josh got a run in.

5 days and counting

So this is the beginning of my last week at Clarke and how are we spending it? Well it just so happens that it is Presidents Day and we are going sledding at the Pugh home. Obviously we'll post pix as soon as we can. We're all a little nervous about how this whole new life will pan out, but we're even more excited about it. One of the things that I look forward to is having the mornings with the family. I love having breakfast with Remski. She is just so entertaining and stresses us out as she eats her cereal. She'll load up a spoonful and get just a bit distracted which means that her spoon tips ever so slightly and most of the milk/cereal end up on her or the table or the floor. She doesn't seem to notice as she puts what's left of the spoonful in her mouth.

We are also at the 50 days till delivery date... We can hardly wait for him to show up! On another note, Grandmere sent Rem the cutest dress for Valentines. See attached pic/video. It gets a little dark, but hopefully you can still see it.

Rem and Lucy

It just so happens that one of Rems favorite reasons to go to church is to see Lucy. She'll spew out a slew of words when asked if she wants to go to church. She'll repeat "church" and then "peterperryluciesjohn?" Somewhere in that one word of people she knows is Lucy. It is just so fun to see them together. One of their favorite activities has been to climb in the crib and pretend to go "nigh nigh". They close their eyes for all of 1.5 seconds before they jump up and start to bounce. You've gotta love 'em.

Big Girl Bed & Baby Brother Appts.

So Remlee is officially a Big Girl. Her toddler bed showed up yesterday so Jules and I put it together while she was off playing. When she came in, she just gasped with excitement and wanted to go "Nigh Nigh" right then and there. She climbed right in and pretended to sleep. WOW. I didn't think we would get such a great reaction to a bed. She seemed truly devastated when she found out that she had to have a bath before we would let her go to sleep. I'm certainly not ignorant to the fact that the novelty of a new bed will wear off quickly and that she will soon realize that she can climb out if she doesn't want to go to sleep, but it seemed a small miracle that tonight she did climb right in and fell asleep immediately. Once again... WOW.

Julia has begun the visits to the doctors office every two weeks. I can't believe that we are already down to the last eight weeks. Baby Brother is doing fine and is still right on track. He has been so very active and it is entertaining (for me) to watch as he stretches and does somersaults (poor Jules). April 8th can't seem to come quickly enough for us.

Fabulous February

Normally I'm not so excited about February. In fact, I think that February is my least favorite month, but this year is different. This year, February marks a huge change in the life of the Pughs. We are making the huge leap of faith and I have put in my notice. Granted, I have to work until the 22nd of the month, but we are soooooooo excited. Tell everyone you know that there hasn't ever been a better time to buy (my) artwork!

In other news, Remlee has been followed by the Paparazzi and was last seen leaving her home while wearing pink hightops with her skinny pants. As always, she had her orange sippy with her. Later that evening, she was caught wearing Mickey Mouse ears at the Pugh home and singing along to some of her favorite songs! When approached by the Paparazzi, Rem took one of their camara's and attempted to delete pictures. Tough luck!
